I agree, it's the best show of the Brent era. All of the sources are great too.

That's quite a statement, the best show from 1979 - 1990?

If you were in attendance perhaps the best show of 1981, i'll cast a vote for New Years 12/31/81 or, if Dave's Picks ever delivered a - somewhat edited - "best of" from the Uptown Theatre run February 26-28 1981, this would be my first choice. The standard format so far is a three disc set, i'd hope it would be pushed to four or five, and i know that Lemieux understands this.

Agreed, overall 1981 was a solid year.

3-9-81 is a standout for sure. Best? Who knows? All subjective when said and done, but it has to fall in a top 10 discussion--that much is objective.

Sleeper pick for outstanding show of the decade:

5/1/81, Hampton, VA.

Often overlooked for its "ordinary" set list, but every song is of the 95-100 point variety. Excellent AUD source--one of the very best--exists here at the archive. Worth a listen for those who may be unfamiliar with it.
